Welcome to CC Charity (“CC Charity”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, applications, donation services, fundraising tools, event services, volunteer features, and other related services.

By accessing, registering with, donating through, fundraising on, or otherwise using CC Charity, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About CC Charity

CC Charity provides an online platform that enables individuals, charities, organisations, corporate donors, service providers, campaign organisers, volunteers, and other users to participate in charitable and community-focused activities.

The platform may provide services including:

  • charitable donations
  • fundraising campaigns
  • campaign management
  • event registration
  • volunteer opportunities
  • donation splitting or smart giving
  • organisation and beneficiary profiles
  • payment collection
  • withdrawal and payout requests
  • donation receipts
  • impact reporting
  • service listings
  • community engagement tools

Unless expressly stated otherwise, CC Charity acts as a technology platform and does not itself become the beneficiary of donations made to third-party campaigns or organisations.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the platform.

If you are under the legal age required to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction, you may only use the platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Organisations using CC Charity must be legally authorised to act in their own name.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require you to create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information
  • maintain the security of your account
  • keep your login credentials confidential
  • promptly update your account information
  • notify us if you believe your account has been compromised

You are responsible for activities performed through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.

CC Charity may suspend or restrict an account where we reasonably believe that:

  • false information has been provided
  • fraudulent activity is occurring
  • platform rules are being violated
  • the account presents a security or compliance risk

4. User Types

The platform may support different account types, including:

  • Individual Donors
  • Corporate Donors
  • Campaign Organisers
  • Charities
  • Non-profit Organisations
  • Volunteers
  • Event Organisers
  • Service Providers
  • Administrators

Features available to each user type may differ.

5. Donations

When you make a donation through CC Charity, you authorise the applicable payment provider to process your payment.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • the payment details you provide are valid
  • you are authorised to use the selected payment method
  • the donation amount is correct before confirming payment

Unless specifically stated otherwise, donations may be final once successfully processed.

CC Charity may provide a donation receipt or transaction confirmation for record-keeping purposes.

A donation receipt does not necessarily constitute a tax-deductible receipt unless the receiving organisation is legally authorised to issue such receipts in the relevant jurisdiction.

6. Anonymous Donations

Where the platform allows anonymous donations, your name may be hidden from public campaign displays.

However, your identity and transaction information may still be available to:

  • CC Charity
  • the payment provider
  • the campaign owner
  • the beneficiary organisation
  • authorised administrators
  • regulators or authorities where required by law

Anonymous donations do not mean anonymous payment processing.

7. Fundraising Campaigns

Users may be permitted to create fundraising campaigns.

Campaign organisers are responsible for ensuring that all campaign information is:

  • accurate
  • truthful
  • lawful
  • not misleading
  • not fraudulent
  • supported by appropriate documentation where required

Campaign organisers must not create campaigns for illegal, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, harmful, or prohibited purposes.

CC Charity may review, suspend, reject, restrict, or remove a campaign if it appears to breach these Terms or applicable laws.

8. Campaign Verification

Certain campaigns or organisations may be subject to verification.

Verification may include:

  • identity verification
  • business or organisation verification
  • bank account verification
  • supporting documents
  • ownership information
  • beneficiary information
  • proof of address
  • regulatory documentation

Verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty by CC Charity.

Users should make their own assessment before donating.

9. Campaign Goals and Outcomes

Campaign goals are targets and are not guarantees.

CC Charity does not guarantee that:

  • a campaign will reach its goal
  • donations will achieve a specific outcome
  • a campaign organiser will complete a project
  • a beneficiary will use funds exactly as donors expect

Campaign organisers remain responsible for using funds in accordance with their stated campaign purpose.

10. Smart Giving and Split Donations

Where CC Charity allows donations to be split across multiple causes, campaigns, or beneficiaries, the donor authorises the platform to allocate the donation according to the selected distribution.

The final allocation may be affected by:

  • payment processing fees
  • currency conversion
  • provider restrictions
  • minimum transaction values
  • technical limitations

11. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

These may include bank processors, card processors, mobile payment providers, or other financial technology services.

By using a payment method, you may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant payment provider.

CC Charity is not responsible for failures caused solely by third-party payment systems, banking networks, or financial institutions.

12. Platform Fees

CC Charity may charge:

  • platform fees
  • transaction fees
  • processing fees
  • withdrawal fees
  • currency conversion fees
  • other disclosed service charges

Any applicable charges should be displayed or communicated before the relevant transaction is completed.

13. Optional Tips

Where enabled, donors may voluntarily provide a tip to support the operation of CC Charity.

Tips are separate from the donation made to the campaign or beneficiary unless expressly stated otherwise.

14. Refunds

Donations are generally non-refundable once successfully processed, except where:

  • required by law
  • a duplicate payment occurred
  • an unauthorised payment is confirmed
  • a technical error occurred
  • CC Charity determines that a refund is appropriate
  • the receiving organisation agrees to the refund

Refund requests may require evidence and may be subject to payment provider rules.

Processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a donor initiates a chargeback or payment dispute, CC Charity may:

  • temporarily reserve the disputed amount
  • deduct the amount from available campaign balances
  • suspend related withdrawals
  • request documentation from relevant users
  • cooperate with the payment provider

Campaign owners must cooperate with legitimate dispute investigations.

16. Withdrawals and Payouts

Eligible campaign owners may request withdrawal of cleared campaign funds.

Withdrawals may be subject to:

  • available cleared balance
  • pending disputes
  • platform fees
  • applicable regulations

Withdrawals may move through statuses such as:

Requested → Under Review → Approved → Processing → Completed

A withdrawal may also become:

Failed, Rejected, or Re-Requested.

17. Available Balance

The amount available for withdrawal may differ from the total amount raised.

Available balance may exclude:

Payment accounts may be subject to additional verification.

19. Currency Conversion

Where donations or payouts involve different currencies, currency conversion may be performed by third-party providers.

Exchange rates may vary.

  • attendee communication
  • any event-specific refunds

CC Charity does not guarantee that an event will occur as advertised.

21. Event Registration

When registering for an event, you agree to provide accurate attendee information.

Registration may be subject to availability.

Where events have limited capacity, registration may be accepted on a first-come or organiser-approved basis.

22. Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled, the event organiser is primarily responsible for communicating the change.

Refund eligibility may depend on the event organiser's policy and applicable law.

23. Volunteers

Volunteer opportunities may be listed by charities, organisers, campaigns, or other approved organisations.

Users who apply to volunteer acknowledge that:

  • acceptance is not guaranteed
